The EUROMED-ICESCO "Arts, Societies and Civilizations" chair pays tribute to photographic art in Morocco

Under the suggestive title "photography today: what view of society?" was held on March 9, 2023, at the art gallery of the university, a rich meeting initiated by the EUROMED-ICESCO Chair "Arts, Societies and Civilizations".
The participants in this meeting, Professors Thami Benkirane, Fouad Brigui and Abderrahman Tenkoul, highlighted, through their communications and in the exchange with students and teacher-researchers, what makes the strength of the photographic art in Morocco namely: the search for detail and the banal as places of expression of the underground visions that draw the invisible mutations that our society is experiencing.
This event is also an opportunity to reflect on the importance of common visual memory and to question a number of aspects related to the history, perspectives and aspirations of this art.
