The UEMF is committed with the AUF for gender equality

After the official launch of the international consortium of eleven French-speaking establishments working to achieve gender equality in June 2021, Euromed University of Fez is present at the experience sharing workshop organized by L'Agence Universitaire of the Francophonie.
The event which took place this Friday, March 17, 2023, in Paris was marked by the launch of the workshop summarizing the work of the Francophone Consortium for Gender Equality on campus. This meeting aimed at developing an action plan for gender equality made it possible to present the achievements of the Consortium at the end of its two years of activity, but also its prospects, under the sign of international cooperation. .
Considering that gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but that it is also a prerequisite for the establishment of a sustainable and socially responsible university, the AUF has decided to launch with the support from UN Women for a call for applications on the occasion of March 8, 2021 for the creation of a consortium of establishments wishing to engage in an approach to equality on their campuses.
Eleven establishments have been selected to join this international collective. The ambition of this Consortium is to provide effective and operational support to institutions wishing to engage in this process in order to act on the persistent inequalities that do not spare our universities.
