WorkshopsThe Euromed University of Fez, in collaboration with its partner Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, is organising two workshops on 15 and 16 May 2023, one on AI applied to agriculture and food security and the other on intelligent transport (ITS), mobility and urban planning.
The conference, which was launched by the respective presidents of the two institutions, Prof. Mostapha BOUSMINA from Euromed University and Prof. Sheizaf RAFAELI from Shenkar College, was punctuated, on the first day, by multiple interventions of researchers and students from the two universities, moderated and animated by Prof. Salim BOUNOU (Euromed) and Prof. Yoram HALEVI (Shenkar).
The presentations highlighted the results of the work carried out by the different teams, namely in advanced irrigation, optimal control, sensors for intelligent agriculture, bio-packaging using the properties of glycans, in addition to innovative outputs in the fields of fertilizers, treatment and valorization of mining waste and wastewater.
The second day will see equally promising results in AI applied to transport systems and urban planning.
